We’re told that it takes approximately 10 seconds to formulate a first impression. We know that about ourselves, but what about the events we run. When your visitors walk through the front door, what do they see? Would they trust you?
What is the first message that meets them when they walk into your venue, and mentally define their next move. Do they need to purchase tickets? Do they need to register? Do they need to queue up in a certain area? Are they part of a particular group.
The first thing we do when we walk into a new place is to mentally place ourself where we need to be, and look for any signs of direction for our next move.
In an article published on Journalism.co.uk recently, we read a great piece about making brand impressions count. MarketStorm Global write the following in the piece,
“Brand impressions play an integral part into how people view a brand, so it’s essential to ensure a positive perception is conveyed every time. Traditionally, it has been the marketing department that has developed a close relationship with brand management. However, today’s current market has seen that all areas of a business contribute to shaping the view of a brand. Due to this new increase of people that participate in building a positive and dynamic brand for their business, it has become even more critical for companies to understand which aspects of their business influences how customers perceive their brand and how they should be acting on achieving positive brand impressions (marketingweek.co.uk)”
It doesn’t take a lot to realise that you, as an event organiser, have just a few seconds to create a brand impression that will last. Whether it’s a good impression that people will never forget, or a bad one that people will never forget, and subsequently result in them never returning to your event again.
Working with some of the industry-leading event companies, Tigrox has been instrumental in creating positive brand impressions for event owners that instils a sense of confident direction for all visitors who step through the door. Whether it’s merely to enforce a brand, or whether it is intended to mark out areas of registration, promotion and direction, Tigrox has been a key solution to enabling organisers to do just that, through a cost effective and trusted system.
