Excess Baggage Company choose Tigrox to manage their summer crowds

Excess Baggage use Tigrox for their queue managementExcess Baggage Company, the leading name in in-Terminal Baggage and Concierge services, located in many airports and railway stations throughout the UK, recently chose Tigrox as their banner barrier of choice in the management of their queues and footfall flow throughout the busy summer sporting season.

Providing left luggage, storage, baggage shipment and lost and found services to all visitors, Excess Baggage Company has seen hundreds of thousands of customers throughout the July/August period. The Tigrox banner barrier system was used to guide customers to correct counters, assist in queue management, and most importantly, notify and market Excess Baggage Company’s services to customers.

The Tigrox queue management system is made up of a combination of posts and banners. The posts,

which are all tooled, moulded and assembled at the factory in the United Kingdom, are equipped with a patented spring and roll-up mechanism allowing the interchangeable banner to be extended as frequently as

required, exchanged for another banner when required, while also allowing the banner to be safely rolled up and stored when not in use. The requirement by Excess Baggage Company was for a system that would perform not only an operational function, but also provide promotional opportunities which would clearly mark out specific business areas for the company, while managing thousands of customer requests daily.

John Coward, the Manager of the Rail Division at Excess Baggage, has been extremely pleased with the product and added that, “the product not only looks good, and performs a vital function for what we need, but that it allows us to do so at a relatively inexpensive cost too”.  Looking to develop the rollout of Tigrox to various other locations throughout the United Kingdom, Excess Baggage Company aims to make use of Tigrox as a daily functional tool in order to better assist their own customers.
